He tells the story of meeting Lauren and sculpting a life and family with her. Tony teaches his mother and father’s words of wisdom that have impacted his life. In Quiet Strength the reader is guided from Tony’s childhood all the way to a few weeks after he coached the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl XLI. Dungy’s life story is consistently filled with perseverance and faith. Tony knew that God had a plan for what was going on, even if he could not see it at the time.
